Character Study
I liked the modern trait personality theory with the five-factor model out of all the theories that I read about. The Big Five personality traits model is based on common language descriptions of personalities. This model demonstrates the relationship between personality and academic behaviors.
The five big traits are listed as openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism.
I am going to analyze my 22 year old daughter’s personality for this project. She was an only child for 10 years. She was very independent as a child and I was often told by her teachers that she was very mature for her age.
I believe Myra, my daughter would have scored high on openness, conscientiousness and agreeableness. The openness high scorer tends to be a more curious, creative, original and imaginative.

This is
a great description of Myra. She has very creative ideas and is great at decorating.
The high score for conscientiousness made a lot of sense as well for Myra. She
is very organized, hard-working, punctual and conscientious. She was always the
first one to be ready to leave the house in the morning when she still lived at
home. I have noticed Myra being organized ever since she was a child. She enjoyed
organizing her room, books and toys.
She
enjoyed helping me organize my kitchen cabinets recently. The agreeableness of
her personality trait that I have observed is that she is a softhearted individual. She has a loyal and dependable personality. She volunteers for many organizations including the wild life center in Lubbock, Texas. I have seen
her have generosity to others by how she is cares for her friends and family and by serving her community.
